Colorado Mammoth News Release

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth announced today that tickets to the team's West Division Semifinal will go on sale on Saturday, April 21 at 10:00am MT. Although the date, time and opponent have not been determined, the game will be held on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center the first weekend in May.

"One of our goals this year was to host at least one playoff game at "˜The Loudest House in Lacrosse' in front of the world's best fans," said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. "Now, we're devoting the remainder of the regular season to try to secure more home playoff games."

The Mammoth, which was the first team to clinch a postseason berth this year, has now qualified for the playoffs in nine of the team's 10 seasons in Colorado. However, the team hasn't hosted a playoff game since 2008.

"It's been a long time coming," said Govett.

The franchise won the first two rounds of the playoffs at home in 2006 before defeating the Bandits in Buffalo to win the Champion's Cup. This season, the Mammoth has assured itself of no worse than the #2 seed in the West Division.

Fans in attendance at Colorado's final regular-season home game on Friday, April 20 will receive the opportunity to purchase playoff tickets before they go on sale to the general public at the Pepsi Center box office immediately following that night's game.

The Mammoth hosts the defending NLL champion Toronto Rock on Saturday, April 14 at 7pm MT on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center on "˜Lacrosse Out Cancer' Night. Tickets are on sale now at the Pepsi Center box office, all Colorado Dick's Sporting Goods retail kiosks, online at TicketHorse.com, or by calling 303.53.HORSE.
