Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - The National Lacrosse League announced today that Colorado Mammoth forward John Grant, Jr. has been named the team captain of the NLL All-Star Game's West Division squad. The game, which will be played this Sunday at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, will be the seventh all-star appearance for the Peterborough, Ontario native.
"John has earned every accolade and award he's ever been given in the sport," said Mammoth Head Coach Bob Hamley. "This is yet another honor for John that is well-deserved."
Sunday's game will mark the first time Grant will represent the West Division, as his first six All-Star appearances were made representing the East.
The NLL All-Star Game will be broadcast live nationally this Sunday, February 27 on VERSUS at 12:00pm MST.
The Colorado Mammoth returns home to HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center following the All-Star break on Friday, March 4 against the Minnesota Swarm at 7pm. Tickets are on-sale now and start at just $20 apiece in the lower level.
