
Mammoth Sign Defenseman Tyler Garrison to One-Year Contract Agreement

DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced the organization signed defenseman Tyler Garrison to a one-year contract agreement, set to begin during the league's 2025-26 campaign.
Garrison, 34, spent a majority of the season with the Vancouver Warriors where he recorded one point (1g, 0a), four loose balls, five caused turnovers and one blocked shot in two appearances before being released by the organization on March 27.
Prior to his time with the Warriors, Garrison spent two seasons with Colorado (2022-23, 2023-24) where he logged a combined nine points (3g, 6a), 31 loose balls, 16 penalty minutes, eight caused turnovers and four blocked shots in 17 regular season appearances. Garrison chipped in one point (0g, 1a), nine loose balls, four caused turnovers and three blocked shots during his four postseason appearances with Colorado during the team's 2022-23 journey back to the NLL Finals.
The Coquitlam, B.C. native was originally selected by the Washington Stealth during the second round (11th overall) of the 2012 NLL Entry Draft and went on to record 14 points (4g, 10a), 42 loose balls, 17 penalty minutes and 21 caused turnovers in 16 games played throughout his rookie season.
Through his five combined seasons with the Stealth (which includes the 2012-13 season in Washington before the franchise relocated itself to Vancouver), Garrison racked up 42 points (17g, 25a), 198 loose balls, 61 penalty minutes and 75 caused turnovers in 48 regular season appearances.
The 6-2, 200-lb. back-ender added five points (4g, 1a), eight loose balls and two caused turnovers throughout his three postseason games played with Washington in 2013.
Throughout his 70 career games played, he's accumulated 53 points (21g, 32a), 239 loose balls, 77 penalty minutes and 91 caused turnovers and brings an added veteran presence to the Mammoth locker room as the team closes out its March to May push.
