Hotaling Recognized as Transition Player of the Week

Boston, MA (February 23, 2011) Boston Blazers transition player Ryan Hotaling was named the National Lacrosse League (NLL) Transition Player of the Week today for his performance against the Minnesota Swarm last Saturday evening.

Hotaling recorded 23 loose balls and one assist in the Blazers 14-11 victory over the Swarm. Hotaling was also 18 for 28, a 64% win percentage at the faceoff circle.

A graduate of Nazareth College, Hotaling is currently second in the league behind Calgary Roughneck's Geoff Snider with a 59% faceoff win percentage (115 faceoff wins) and has 70 loose balls on the season.

Hotaling and the Blazers return home to the TD Garden on Sunday, March 6th at 5:00pm as they battle the Buffalo Bandits. Individual tickets are currently available through blazerslacrosse.com or by calling 888-BLAZERS.
