
Mallards Host Travis Hearn Fundraiser

Moline, IL-The Quad City Mallards today announced that the team is hosting Travis Hearn Night on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. as the team hosts the Port Huron Flags. This special fundraiser will benefit Travis Hearn, a Rock Island football player who was injured in a game last fall.
The Mallards will contribute 41% (in honor of Hearn's jersey number) of the ticket revenues from Saturday night's game to the Travis Hearn Fund. Special ticket discounts will be offered to high school students as a part of the event. Students that present their identification cards at The MARK box office will receive tickets for just $6. It's also All Faiths Night as church groups are welcomed to The MARK for $10 per ticket. To participate in All Faiths Night, call the Mallards ticket office at (309) 764-7825.
A 1974 Ford Thunderbird will also be raffled off. Tickets for the raffle are just $10 and are available at The Mallards Nest Team Store this week and will also be on sale during Friday and Saturday's Mallards games. All money raised from the raffle will be donated to the Travis Hearn Fund.
The Mallards visit Fort Wayne on Wednesday night. Game time is 6:30 p.m. central time and the Hayman's Ace Hardware Pre-Game Show airs on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230 beginning at 6:05 p.m.
The Mallards return home on Friday for a showdown with Port Huron. Game time is 7:00 p.m. It's Girl Scout Night as Girl Scouts from throughout the Quad City area are invited to The MARK for just $10. Call (309) 764-7825 to make your Girl Scout Troop a part of the fun. On Saturday night, the Flags are back for another 7:00 p.m. face-off. The first 2,000 fans will receive the third installment of the Mallards trading card set from Portabella's. Individual tickets for all Mallards home games are available at The MARK box office, via phone at (563) 326-1111 or on-line at ticketmaster.com.
