
Hogs unbeaten in 15 straight games heading into judgment week

Another perfect week for the Rockford IceHogs catapulted the United Hockey League club into sole possession of first place in the UHL's Western Conference for the first time this season. No time to rest, however, as the IceHogs will battle the three other top teams in the UHL on the road this weekend plus a streaking Chicago Hounds club on Wednesday.

-Rockford winger Nicolas Corbeil was activated from Team Suspension on Friday, March 2
-Rockford winger Jesse Bennefield was re-assigned by the Iowa Stars (AHL) on Thurs., March 1

IceHogs center Preston Mizzi had his club-record 13-game point streak come to an end on Saturday night. Mizzi totaled 13g-16a-29pts during his hot stretch.
Rockford is currently riding a club-record 15-game unbeaten streak (14-0-1).
Rockford is on a club-record 10-game winning streak at home.
The IceHogs also have a nine-game winning streak overall.
Rockford had a season-high crowd of 6,664 on Saturday night, the eighth largest in club history.
Rockford will embark on another five-game road swing beginning on Wednesday in Chicago.
Center Kevin Ulanski leads the IceHogs with 19 multi-point games this season.
The IceHogs set a club-record on Saturday when they peppered the Mallards with 28 shots on goal in the second period.
Hot Hog Week 21:
Rockford leading point scorer Kevin Ulanski continues to be clutch for the IceHogs. Ulanski led the way offensively for the Hogs once again in Week 21 with a pair of goals, an assist and a dramatic game-winning goal in the fifth round of the shootout on Saturday night against Quad City.
Upcoming Games:
Wednesday, March 7 at Chicago Hounds. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Rockford begins another five-game road swing with a match-up in Chicago against the Hounds at the Sears Centre. The game is the fourth in Chicago between the two clubs.
Friday, March 9 at Muskegon Fury. The game is slated for 6:30 p.m. The IceHogs begin a crucial three-game stretch against the best of the UHL beginning with the circuit's top team. The game is the final regular season match-up in Muskegon.
Saturday, March 10 at Kalamazoo Wings. Game time is 6:30 p.m. The Hogs travel to Kalamazoo to battle the defending Colonial Cup Champions for the final time on the road during the regular season. The game is the fifth overall on the season.
Sunday, March 11 at Fort Wayne Komets. The rivalry resumes at 4 p.m. A huge weekend wraps up in Fort Wayne against the club Rockford is trying to hold off for the top spot in the Western Conference. With only one meeting after Sunday's tilt, this one should be a showdown of colossal proportions!
