Last Game

Five different players scored for the Indy Fuel while Oilvier Archambault- who also had an assist- and Vladimir Nikiforov provided the Mallard goals as the host Fuel defeated the Mallards 5-2 Saturday night.

Dip

The Mallards have won just one of their last six games (1-3-2).

Home Sweet Home

The Mallards are unbeaten in regulation (3-0-1) in their last four home games.

Rough Road

The Mallards have gone winless (0-3-2) in five road games since winning their opener in Allen October 16.

Division

Last Saturday's loss to the Fuel was the Mallards' eleventh game overall but their first against a division foe this season. The Mallards face two more division opponents- Cincinnati and Fort Wayne- this week.

First Blood

The Mallards have gone 4-0-1 when scoring first and 0-4-2 when allowing the first goal.

High Five

The Mallards in last Saturday's 5-2 loss at Indy matched a season high for goals allowed.

Familiar Faces

Four Mallards skated for the Aces last season- Archambault, Raphael Bussieres, Zach Pochiro and Ryan Tesink- while Alaska's Joe Perry was the Mallards' top goal scorer last year and the Aces' Liam Stewart played two playoff games for the Mallards last spring.

Arch Madness

Olivier Archambault has scored the Mallards' first goal in each of the last three games.  He has scored four times and added two assists in his last five games to take over the team lead in points (10) and move into a tie for the Mallard lead in goals (4) and assists (6).

Gelly Donut

Guillaume Gelinas's team season best five-game point-scoring streak (1-4-5) ended last Saturday against the Fuel. Gelinas is tied for fourth among ECHL defensemen in points (8).

Iron Mike

Mike Monfredo is tied for fourth among ECHL defensemen in assists (6) and tied for ninth among blueliners in points (7). Monfredo, whose first goal of the season was the third period game winner last Friday against Wichita, has now played 215 consecutive games since turning pro with the Mallards in 2012.

Special Teams

The Mallards failed to convert their only power play last Saturday after scoring at least once on the man advantage in each of their prior seven games. The Mallards rank fifth in the ECHL on the power play (23.8 percent). The Mallards were 5-for-5 on the penalty kill last weekend and have survived their opponents' last six power plays overall. They are fourteenth in the league in penalty killing (84.1 percent).

Head to Head

Tonight's game first ever meeting between the Mallards and Aces and the first of two games between the two clubs this year. The season series concludes with the Aces' return to the iWireless Center on November 20.

Milestones

Bussieres has played 99 career games...Vladimir Nikiforov has 97 points in 147 career ECHL games...Logan Nelson played his fiftieth career game last Friday against Wichita... Gelinas has played 48 career games...Ryan Tesink has played 47 career games.

Ins and Outs

Zach Pochiro was reassigned to the Mallards from the AHL's Chicago Wolves by the NHL's St. Louis Blues November 9 after being reassigned from the Mallards to Chicago by St. Louis November 5...Tanner Eberle was assigned to the Mallards November 9 by the AHL's Iowa Wild after being recalled by the Wild November 6.
