Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce today that the ECHL club has acquired forward Radoslav Illo from Evansville for future considerations.
Illo, 25, is a rookie from Slovakia and made his professional debut back in 2013-14 with the Admirals. Illo played three games for Norfolk after completing four years at Bemidji State University in Minnesota. At Bemidji State, the 5-foot-11 and 198-pound attacker scored 25 goals and 29 assists for 54 total points over a 122-game career at the collegiate level. A fifth-round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in 2009, Illo went scoreless in one previous ECHL contest earlier this season.
The Admirals embark on a season-long, seven-game road trip starting this Friday at Elmira. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard on 1650 AM WHKT. Watch it live on ECHL.TV. With 66 games remaining on the schedule, there is still plenty of the 2015-16 season left to purchase season tickets, which start at $400. Ten-pack tickets are also available and can be purchased at the Admirals' Administrative Office inside Scope. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Scope Box Office, ticketmaster.com, or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
