Norfolk Admirals News Release
NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce today that the team has added defenseman Samuel Noreau from Evansville for future considerations.
Noreau, 22, is in his third season as a professional and has played 129 ECHL games during that span for Greenville and Evansville. The 2011 fifth-round draft pick of the New York Rangers has three goals and 21 career points in the ECHL, and also skated in nine AHL games with Hartford. The 6-foot-5, 227-pound defenseman out of Montreal is a combined plus-15 in the ECHL during his career and owns 219 penalty minutes, including 15 in his only game so far this season.
The Admirals embark on a season-long, seven-game road trip starting this Friday at Elmira. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m. and can be heard on 1650 AM WHKT. Watch it live on ECHL.TV. With 66 games remaining on the schedule, there is still plenty of the 2015-16 season left to purchase season tickets, which start at $400. Ten-pack tickets are also available and can be purchased at the Admirals' Administrative Office inside Scope. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Scope Box Office, ticketmaster.com, or charge-by-phone at 1-800-745-3000.
