Mallards Announce Northside Fireworks Show Details
June 25, 2014 - Northwoods League (Northwoods)
Madison Mallards News Release
Madison, WI -June 25, 2014. The Madison Mallards have announced specific details about the Mallards Northside Fireworks Show on July 5th at Warner Park.
Plans for the inaugural event arose after the announcement that Rhythm & Booms, which had been hosted at Warner Park every year of its existence through 2013, was moving to downtown Madison.
"The Mallards Northside Fireworks will provide a family friendly fireworks display and festival atmosphere for both the Northside and the greater Madison community," said Mallards President Vern Stenman. "Baseball, music and fireworks around Independence Day has been a staple on the Northside for a long time and we're proud to continue that tradition."
Fans can buy tickets to attend the baseball game and guarantee the best seats for the concert and fireworks. After the game is over, the ballpark will open for free to the general public and will serve as the best viewing area for the fireworks display. The show will be shot off from the Warner Park softball fields. Fans can bring blankets to sit on, but lawn chairs will not be allowed. One bottle of water will be allowed per person. No alcohol will be allowed in the Warner Park parking lot.
