Quad City Mallards News Release
MOLINE, Ill. (October 29, 2012) - The Quad City Mallards have activated forwards Jeremy Boyer, Mike Hellyer and Mike Stinziani and defenseman Mitch McColm while waiving forwards Marcello Ranallo and Mike Owens and defensemen Ed Campbell and Aaron Schmit, the Mallards announced today.
Immigration delays prevented Canadians Boyer, Hellyer, Stinziani and McColm, all of whom signed with the team in the offseason, from arriving in the Quad Cities in time to suit up for the Mallards over the weekend as the club played its first three games of the season. Boyer has returned for a second season with the Mallards while Hellyer, Stinziani and McColm join the team fresh from the Canadian university ranks.
Ranallo, Owens, Campbell and Schmit played in each of the Mallards' games last weekend as Quad City won two of those three contests.
The Mallards return to action Friday night against the Blaze in Bloomington before heading home for further battles with the Blaze Saturday evening at 7:05 and Sunday afternoon at 4:05.
Tickets for this weekend's games and all remaining Mallards regular season home games are now available. Single game tickets can be purchased at the i wireless Center box office, at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free. The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.
2012-13 Mallards season tickets as well as the Mallards' new Partial Punch Plan are also still available. The Mallards offer ticket packages to meet any budget, including youth season tickets now available for as little at $165. The Partial Punch Plan provides flexibility and affordability- each Punch Plan punch card can be redeemed for ten tickets- whether those tickets are for ten different games, all for the same game or anything in between- subject to availability. Partial Punch Plans can be had for as little as $70 for youth 12 and under. For more ticket package information, fans can call the Mallards at 309-277-1364.
