Make-up Tuesday, Batty Weekend

Blazers & Bats:The Tulsa Oilers have a make up date with the Oklahoma City Blazers on Tuesday January 30th at 7:05 p.m. at the Tulsa Convention Center. That is a make-up from January 12th and fans with tickets from that date should use those tickets Tuesday night. It's also QuikTrip Tuesday with ticket vouchers available at area QuikTrip stores. On Friday the Oilers will host the Austin Ice Bats, at 7:35 p.m. in their only visit of the season to Tulsa. That is Tulsa World Family Pack night which includes four hot dogs, four soft drinks, four pennants, four pucks, four programs ($108 value) for only $54. On Saturday the Oilers travel to Austin for a 7:35 p.m. contest in a game that can be heard on KRVT AM 1270 and via the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com.

Week Revue: The Oilers dropped a 3-2 decision with Oklahoma City Tuesday; lost to Colorado 5-1 on Friday; beat Lubbock 6-2 on Saturday; then lost to Lubbock 4-3 on Sunday.

Tradin' Times:There were a number of roster moves last week. The Oilers traded left wings with Oklahoma City, getting Jared Dumba in exchange for Jaroslav Cesky. They traded defensemen with Austin getting Justin Togiai in exchange for Marek Dora. They received defenseman Chris Barth from Lubbock in exchange for the CHL rights to Jim Dahl, and signed free agent center Chase Decker and waived defenseman Matt Hanson.

Happy Bo-day: Team captain David Alexandre Beauregard celebrated his 31st birthday on Sunday with a goal and an assist.
