Rocky Mountain Rage News Release
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 2-2-0 OVERALL RECORD: 10-24-4, 24 pts., 4th Place Northwest Division
Jan. 23 vs. Laredo Bucks, 5-1 Loss - In their only meeting against the defending President's Cup Champions, the Rage came up empty. Nathan Rosychuk scored the team's only goal in the loss.
Jan. 26 @ New Mexico Scorpions, 6-3 Loss - A game that was closer than the score would indicate, the Rage overcame a 3-0 second period deficit behind goals from Mark Wires, Dan Vandermeer, and John DiPace to tie the game at three entering the third. But New Mexico responded to score the game-winner early in the final frame before tacking on two insurance tallies with under three minutes to play.
Jan. 27 vs. Arizona Sundogs, 8-4 Win - Dominic Noel scored a team-record four goals to help stake Rocky Mountain to an 8-1 lead at one point. The win was the club's first since Dec. 31 and snapped a nine-game winless skid.
Jan. 28 vs. Arizona Sundogs, 3-0 Win - David Guerrera's 33-save performance marked the first shutout in team history. Matic Kralj, Trevor Weisgerber, and Noel all scored to complete a two-game sweep of the Sundogs.

NOTES
* The eight-goal outburst on Saturday against Arizona set a new team record, besting the Rage's scoring output during a 7-2 victory on Nov. 25 against the Colorado Eagles.
* Goaltender Trevor Cunning earned his first win of the year by making 31 saves between the pipes on Saturday.
* Kyle Kos and Matic Kralj scored short-handed goals on the same Sundogs power play just 47 seconds apart on Saturday, giving Rocky Mountain five shorties on the season.
* Adam Stefishen's 178 penalty minutes are the third highest total in the league. His 14 fighting majors are the fifth highest total.
* Dan Vandermeer, Jordan Little, Dorian Anneck, and Kos all returned to action last week after missing substantial time in the line-up. Bret DeCecco is slated to return this week, as well. The Rage have not skated with a full complement of 16 skaters since Dec. 13 - a span of 17 games.
