Bangor, ME- The Bangor Lumberjacks, a proud member of the Northeast League, have a promotion filled weekend coming up. The Lumberjacks will be playing a three game series against the Berkshire Black Bears over the weekend.
The series opens Friday night at 7:15 PM. It's Lumberjack Bobble Head Giveaway Night. All season, ten pack, and five pack tickets holders, as well as the first few hundred fans through the gate will receive a voucher redeemable for a special Lumberjack Bobble Head. The Bobbles themselves have been delayed in shipping, but will arrive by the end of the month. Following the game, the Lumberjacks will present fantastic fireworks show.
Saturday is the Lumberjacks Boy Scout Campout Night. Boy Scouts are invited for a night of fun beginning with a question and answer and autograph session with the Lumberjacks and then dinner. The game itself starts at 7:15 and following the game, the Scouts are invited to rough it by spending the night on the field. The Lumberjacks will be presenting a movie for the Scouts to watch before "hitting the sack." Troops that are interested in participating, may call Ryan Conley at (207) 947-1900 to book their group. Troops must be booked in advance.
Sunday is WEZQ 92.9 FM's Family Fun Day. Fans can purchase a Jack Pack, which includes four reserved tickets to the 2 PM game, four hot dogs, four programs, a pre-game ball toss on the field with Lumberjack players and a post game running of the bases and party piñata courtesy of Cumulus Broadcasting. The Lumberjacks will also be giving out some great prizes to kids participating in the events courtesy of the Partnership for a Tobacco Free Maine.
Tickets to any or all of these games, may be purchased by calling the Lumberjacks Ticket Office at (207) 947-1900 or by stopping in the Lumberjacks Pro Shop, located in the Bangor Mall.
