The Lakeland Magic, NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, fell to the Wisconsin Herd at home in overtime 132-131 on Thursday morning.

The Magic had led through most of the game and even reached a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter. Prince Bass put on a stellar display collecting a double-double scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and would close out the game with a clutch layup in overtime for the Herd. Elijah Hughes put up a game-high 30 points, and Iverson Molinar also added 22 points and nine assists.

The Magic had had many opportunities to close out the game in overtime and some even thought it was over when Jay Scrubb made a fast break layup that ended up becoming a charge.

Scrubb led the Magic with a triple-double collecting 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists. Au'Diese Toney had a career-high 22 points and eight rebounds while Kevon Harris had 21 points. Though Lakelands bench outscored Wisconsin's 49-12 and had 30 offensive rebounds to the Herd's three the Magic would fall short.

The Lakeland Magic (13-12) will face the Capital City Go-Go, on Sunday, March 12 in Lakeland at 3:00 PM on Bally Sports Florida.
