
Magic Defeat Go-Go at Home

The Lakeland Magic defeated the Capital City Go-Go at the RP Funding Center, 119-95 on Sunday afternoon.
Robert Baker II led the Magic with a game-high 24 points, while Zavier Simpson tallied 17 points and 11 assists. Caleb Houstan and Aleem Ford also added 17 points each off the bench. Trevion Williams led the Go-Go with a double-double, collecting 22 points and 12 rebounds. Jules Bernard had 14 points and seven steals.
"I'm always trying to be in the right spot at the right time. Every game is important and we are treating it as such," Baker II said.
In the third quarter the Magic outscored the Go-Go 34-21. The Magic knocked down six three-point shots, three of which were made by Caleb Houstan.
The next game for Lakeland (14-12), NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will be on Monday, March 13 vs. Capital City Go-Go at 7:00 PM at RP Funding Center.
