Mad Ants and Maine Conduct Trade

Fort Wayne, IN, (November 4, 2011) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have conducted a trade with the Maine Red Claws. The Mad Ants have traded Anthony Kent for the Red Claws 4th round pick, Sadiel Rojas.

Rojas, a 6'4" 190 lb guard from Oklahoma Wesleyan, was named the 2011 NAIA Player of the Year. As a senior he averaged 26 points and 12 rebounds a game.

Kent, a Ball State alum, has played in 136 games over the course of the last three seasons for the Mad Ants. Last season he averaged 5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game.

"We are so grateful for the three years that Anthony Kent has been in a Mad Ants uniform," said Mad Ants President Jeff Potter. "He has been great to have around, and we wish him the best of luck with the Maine Red Claws."

Mad Ants training camp begins Friday, November 11th and they will open the 2011-12 season on Friday, November 25th at the Memorial Coliseum against the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
