Fort Wayne, IN (December 8, 2011) - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have acquired Gage Daye from the available player pool.
Day, a 6-2 guard, averaged 24.1 points and 5.4 assists per game as a senior at Bloomfield College (NCAA Division II). Daye was named a first team All-American by Basketball Times Magazine. He was also named the CACC and All-Met Player of the Year.
Last week the NBA D-League office announced that teams are temporarily permitted to expand their rosters to 12 in preparation for the NBA training camps to start.
