Maceys And Pepsi Team Up For Flash Fun

PROVO, Utah, Jan. 19, 2010 - The Maceys Grocery Store in Provo was the first stop for the Utah Flash and Pepsi tailgates. Maceys' shoppers were treated to free Pepsi samples as well as Flash basketball fun. Customers will have a chance to win free Flash tickets and test out new Pepsi products and the three remaining tailgates.
The next Flash Tailgate is Friday (Jan. 22) from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Maceys located at 187 E 100 N in Spanish Fork, just off the I-15 Exit 257 to the east. The festivities will take place at the entrance to the store and are set to include random appearances by the Flash Fox, Pinnacle Dancers, as well as Flash players and staff.
"We are excited to give Flash fans an opportunity to gather and get pumped up for our upcoming home games," Flash team president Joe Brown said. "I can't think of a better way to get ready for Flash games than to enjoy some Pepsi products, play some Xbox games all before doing your weekly grocery shopping at Maceys."
Flash fans and Maceys customers will compete in Pop-A-Shot, NBA 09 The Inside and Guitar Hero for Flash merchandise and tickets to Flash home games in March. NBA 09 The Inside gamers can play as the Flash against other NBA and NBA D-League teams. Random ticket give-aways to customers and store employees are also scheduled as part of the fun.
