International League Final - Tuesday May 22nd, 2007 @ Lynx Stadium, Ottawa, Ontario

The Lynx fell behind right from the start and couldn't repeat last night's comeback, falling 7-3 to Pawtucket.

The loss drops the Lynx to 21-21 going into their road trip while the Red Sox improve to 17-25. Lynx Players Of The Game: The bottom third of the order, consisting of Jim Rushford, Joey Hammond and Danny Sandoval, combined for six hits, two runs batted in and two runs scored.

Game Recap: Pawtucket jumped out to an early lead, putting four runs on the board in the top of the first inning. The Lynx offence was held in check for the first five innings, but came alive in the bottom of the sixth. Dusty Wathan got things started when he reached on an error with two down. Jim Rushford kept the rally going, moving Wathan over to second base with a single. Joey Hammond brought Wathan home with an RBI single, Danny Sandoval drove Rushford home with a single of his own and Chris Roberson scored Hammond to cut the lead to 4-3. Pawtucket bounced right back, putting another three runs on the board in the top of the seventh inning. Ottawa couldn't come back this time, falling to Pawtucket 7-3.

Next Game: The Lynx enjoy a day off Wednesday before traveling to Charlotte for a four-game series with the Knights. Game time Thursday in Charlotte is 7:15 pm

Probable Pitchers: Wednesday @ Charlotte, 7:15 pm, Ottawa LHP J.A. Happ (1-2, 3.92) takes on Charlotte RHP Vladimir Nunez (2-3, 5.58).
