Less than one month into the team's campaign of THE YEAR OF THE FAN, the Augusta Lynx are approaching the 700 Season Ticket Holder watermark.

In addition to that number, owners Frank Lawrence and Billy Morris are also helping to secure prominent members of the Augusta-Aiken business community as season ticket holders for next season. The team's initial goals of 1,000 season tickets sold by May 1, 2004, and 1,600 season tickets sold by September 1, 2004 is already within reach.

"All of a sudden, there is a sense of excitement surrounding our hockey club for the first time in years," said Lynx Assistant General Manager Rob Mueller. "We finished strong on the ice and already have several key players committed for next year. Plus, with the staff's focus on making our season ticket holders the No. 1 priority, it's already looking like the 2004-05 season will be a special one in Augusta."

The Lynx will continue to target both current and prospective season ticket holders in their quest to turn the 2004-05 Season into the best in Lynx history. After a great finish to last year, the Lynx look to return a solid core of players to compete for the Kelly Cup. Off the ice, it's never been a better time to be a season ticket holder with the team, as the club offers such perks as guaranteed premiums, a separate season ticket holder entrance, VIP outings for season ticket holders with the team, discounts for road games, and more.

Season ticket packages start as low as $340 for the 2004-05 Season! Call now to reserve your seat for all the great hockey action at (706) 724-4ICE (4423).
