
Lynx Fall to Fever Despite Franchise-Record 16 Rebounds From Anosike

Nicky Anosike's franchise record 16 rebounds were not enough as the visiting Indiana Fever defeated the Lynx, 91-81 Thursday night at Target Center. After a back-and-forth first three quarters, the Lynx edged ahead early in the fourth, but a critical 13-0 Indiana run late in the fourth propelled the Fever to the 10-point victory. Wiggins led the Lynx with 23 points, 14 of which game in the first half. Indiana forward Ebony Hoffman scored her first 20-point game of the season, ending the night with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Highlight of the Night:
Nicky Anosike her sixth double-double of the season, scoring14 points and hauling in a career high - and franchise record - 16 rebounds. Anosike's six double-doubles on the season ties the franchise record for double-doubles in a season. It was also Anosike's 11th double-double of her career, tying Nicole Ohlde for most career double-doubles in a Lynx uniform.

With the win the Fever snap a three-game losing streak against the Lynx and improve to 10-8 all-time against Minnesota.
With the loss the Lynx fall to 6-3 overall against Eastern Conference opponents.
The Lynx will finish with 11 of their final 14 regular season games on the road.
The Fever led at halftime 40-38. Candice Wiggins led all scorers with 14 points on 6-9 (.666 FG%) shooting. Nicky Anosike added nine points and also had six rebounds at the half. Ebony Hoffman led the Fever with nine points.
The Fever went on a 13-0 run in the fourth quarter to open up to an 11-point lead.
Nicky Anosike recorded her sixth double-double of the season with 14 points and 16 rebounds, tying the Lynx franchise record for double-doubles in a season (6, Svetlana Abrosmiva). It is also Anosike's 11th career double-double, tying her with Nicole Ohlde for most double-doubles in a Lynx uniform.
