The Lynx stay in the Eastern Conference as they visit the Washington Mystics Saturday night (May 27) at the Verizon Center. Minnesota has dropped its last two visits to the Nation's Capitol, following a 4-0 start against the Mystics in D.C. However, the Lynx recorded an 18-point victory over Washington on June 11, 2005 at Target Center, marking the team's biggest win ever against the Mystics. In doing so, Minnesota leads the all-time series 6-5.
Washington opened the 2006 WNBA season with a 95-60 victory over the New York Liberty and were led by Alana Beard's 25 points. They face off tonight against the Charlotte Sting in Charlotte.
