Minnesota Lynx News Release

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - To encourage Lynx fans to show support for their hometown team, the Minnesota Lynx and GoGirl are partnering for the "Get on Your Feet" promotion at four Lynx home games in August. On Aug. 1, 7, 9 and 13, Lynx fans will be encouraged to stand up and cheer until the Lynx score their first points of the game. A natural partner for the promotion, representatives from Minnetonka, Minn.-based GoGirl will be on hand to encourage female fans to 'get on their feet' and try a new solution for stand-up bathroom convenience.

"We're proud to partner with GoGirl to promote its innovative product," said Conrad Smith, Lynx chief operating officer. "There's a lot of value in this partnership for both organizations and we look forward to helping with the launch of GoGirl."

GoGirl representatives will be at each game to do a T-shirt toss, hand out tattoos, and give GoGirls to the first 20 women who put on GoGirl tattoos at the game on Friday, Aug. 7, and the first 10 women to put on GoGirl tattoos at the game on Sunday, Aug. 9, as well as other GoGirl giveaways throughout the games. GoGirl's branded Mini Cooper also will be located in the Lynx Party Zone, along with a tent where representatives will educate Lynx fans on the benefits of using GoGirl.

A fitting sponsor for "Get on Your Feet", GoGirl poses a solution to women's restroom troubles everywhere by allowing women the simple convenience of standing up to go to the bathroom. Perfect for active women faced with unfit or non-existent restrooms, GoGirl is packaged to fit easily in a purse or backpack and is disposable or reusable.

"GoGirl is a product that empowers women to live their active lifestyles" said Sarah Dillon, president of GoGirl. "Knowing that the Lynx is a team full of empowered females with active, on-the-go lifestyles, the partnership between GoGirl and the Minnesota Lynx was a natural fit. We're excited to support the Lynx and encourage fans to 'get on their feet' during the home games."

Launched this spring and summer at dozens of women's expos and events in Minnesota and across the country, GoGirl recently made appearances at the Minneapolis Women's Expo, the International Women's Show in Detroit and BlogHer in Chicago.

"GoGirl has been incredibly popular with women of all ages! The GoGirl comfort stations at the events have all had long lines, and dozens of women have provided video testimonials to share their experiences with the product," Dillon says. "Having seen the success we've had so far, we're excited to have the opportunity to share GoGirl with Lynx fans!"
