MIDDLETON, Wis. - After eight combined goals in the first period and multiple comeback bids by Muskegon, the Lumberjacks fell just short to the Madison Capitols by a final score of 6-to-4 from Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena on Saturday, Oct. 23. Quinn Hutson, Jack Williams, and Joey Larson all found the back of the net for the Jacks, but Madison was able to hold on for their seventh consecutive win to sweep the weekend series.

The first Madison goal was scored by on the power play Ben Dexheimer at 1:53 of the period with an assist from Nick DeSantis. The second goal was pumped home by Jack Musa at 2:13 with the lone assist from Jack Horbach to make it a 2-to-0 start for the Capitols.
