Lance Calmus, J.P. Huguet and John Boker combined on a two-hitter as Bangor defeated the Aces 4-1. Calmus pitched a superb first six innings, with a DH Mike Davis sixth-inning RBI triple one of the few blemishes, while Huguet and Boker retired the final nine Aces in order. The Lumberjacks got the scoring out of the way early, with a two-run home run by DH Don Ross in the first inning and RBIs from 2B Rolando Bello and 3B Paul Powell in the second.
