Lansing Lugnuts News Release
COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. - The scheduled Wednesday evening tilt between the Lansing Lugnuts (19-33) and West Michigan Whitecaps (24-28) was postponed due to inclement weather and will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning 5:35 p.m. on Friday at LMCU Ballpark.
It will be the third doubleheader between the two ballclubs this year. The Lugnuts and Whitecaps split a pair on April 14 in West Michigan, and the Nuts swept two from the Caps on May 4 in Lansing.
Left-hander Hogan Harris, scheduled to start Wednesday, will instead start against the Whitecaps at 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.
The Lugnuts and Whitecaps' six-game series stretches through Sunday before the Nuts return home Tuesday, June 14, opening a 12-game, 13-day stretch against Fort Wayne and Beloit. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit lansinglugnuts.com or call (517) 485-4500.
