
Lugnuts and Kane County Rained Out

Lansing Lugnuts News Release
LANSING - The scheduled series finale between Lansing and Kane County at Oldsmobile Park on Thursday night has been cancelled due to inclement weather. There will be no make-up date since the two teams do not meet again in the first half.
Tickets for the game may be exchanged for any other game during the 2006 season at the same value based upon availability.
The Lugnuts will take the series victory over Kane County 2-1 and remain 1/2 game behind the West Michigan Whitecaps in the Eastern Division. Lansing will host the first place Whitecaps for four games beginning Friday evening. Russ Savickas (1-0, 2.67 ERA) will start for the Lugnuts while Sendy Vazquez (2-2, 1.69 ERA) will take the hill for West Michigan. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. with LAFCU Fireworks to follow the conclusion of the game.
