The same storm system that ended Wednesday night's game after six and a half innings prevented Thursday's game from even starting. RH Mitch Atkins (2-0) will start the opener Friday againsta TBD starter at 5:30 PM Central Time. South Bend was also rained out on Thursday, canceling their 6:30 PM game before Noon.
