Lubbock Native Joins Renegades as Two Suspended

LUBBOCK, TX: July 25, 2007 - The Lubbock Renegades of the arenafootball2 completed a series of roster moves with the welcoming of defensive back Corey White, who was assigned to the club, and they also placed defensive back Charles Ealy and receiver Chris Highshaw on the team's suspension list.

White, a 6'0" 180-pound native of Lubbock, comes to the Renegades after playing seven games with the Amarillo Dusters this season. With the Dusters this season, White had 30.5 tackles (28 solo), a pair of interceptions, seven pass break-ups, a touchdown, forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The former Estacado High School quarterback, who graduated in 2001, is in his second season of af2 action after appearing in four games last season with the Dusters. Last season, White was a two-way player and registered 7.5 tackles (6 solo) and four pass breakups on defense and had three yards rushing and a 20-yard touchdown reception for his only catch while on the offensive side of the ball. White played collegiately at Eastern New Mexico University and was a two-time First Team All-Lone Star Conference selection.

Ealy and Highshaw will not play this weekend for the Renegades since they have been placed on the team's suspension list. They were each suspended for separate personal reasons, which will remain undisclosed to comply with team policy.
