SARASOTA, Fla. -- Second baseman Mark Bellhorn and third baseman Earl Snyder clobbered three-run homers as Louisville rolled to an 8-3 win over Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon at the Reds Minor League Complex.
Bellhorn launched his dinger in the fifth, while Snyder smacked his roundtripper in the eighth.
Two big leaguers -- Pirates INF Freddy Sanchez and Reds INF Scott Hatteberg -- took some extra swings in the affair. Sanchez, the National League's 2006 Batting Champion, went 3-for-8. Hatteberg, who has played in over 1,000 Major League games, went 3-for-5 with a walk.
Bats LHP Phil Dumatrait (5.0 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO) picked up the win, while Indians RHP Alay Soler (3.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 4 SO) suffered the loss.
