Community Baseball Club Appoints New Board Members

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Community Baseball Club of Central New York is pleased to announce the appointment of FRED MATT and JOHN REYNOLDS to the Board of Directors.

FRED MATT is the Vice President of Marketing and Sales of the Matt Brewing Company. Fred has been a key member of the management team since joining the brewery in 1989 and has been instrumental in expanding the distributor network. He has successfully rebuilt the sales and marketing organization of Matt Brewing in order to support the explosive growth of the Saranac brand. The Matt Brewing Company has been a corporate partner of the Chiefs since 1961 and are currently the largest shareholders in the Community Baseball Club of Central New York. Before joining the brewery, Fred worked for several years as an Account Supervisor for Grey Advertising in New York City. He received his MBA from the Simon School of Business and his BA from Hobart College. Fred and his wife have three children.

JOHN REYNOLDS is a tax partner with Testone, Marshall & Discenza, LLP. John's primary focus for the company is on corporate tax planning for businesses in Upstate New York. He has been a Certified Public Accountant in Syracuse since 1978 and has been active with local charitable organizations during his time in business. He has been an advocate of Chiefs baseball for many years. John has a BBA from the University of Notre Dame. He resides in Camillus with his daughter Kelly.
