Loudoun United FC Sign Defender Peabo Doue

Loudoun United FC have acquired defender Peabo Doue for their inaugural season in the USL Championship pending league and federation approval.

"Peabo has an ample amount of experience in the USL already," Richie Williams, Loudoun United FC Head Coach, said. "We are excited to add another local player to the roster and can't wait to see what he accomplishes on the field."

Doue joins Loudoun United FC after spending one season (2017-2018) with North Carolina FC, a USL Championship team. In his time with North Carolina he made 19 appearances totaling in 1,004 minutes. Doue scored one goal and recorded one assist that season.

Starting his career in 2013 with Phoenix FC in their inaugural season, he scored once in 17 appearances. Doue has appeared in 79 USL Championship matches, totaling over 4,000 minutes, scoring three times and assisting two goals in his time in the league. Doue also made six Lamar Hunt US Open Cup appearances, totaling 521 minutes.

Doue is from Takoma Park, Md., and played in the D.C. United Academy. He was a 2008 MLS U-17 Cup finalist with the Academy. He went on to play at West Virginia University (2009-2012). In his four years with West Virginia, Doue made 75 appearances; scoring 10 goals and recording 12 assists.
