
Loshing's 2 Lead Cats over Eagles in Sydney

Wildcats Captain Yoan Loshing supplied all the offence required in a 2-1 Moncton road win over the Eagles at Centre 200 in Sydney Saturday night.
Loshing notched his 16th and 17th tallies of the season and goaltender Jacob Steinman was sharp with 30 saves. Wildcats assists were provided by Caleb Desnoyers, Etienne Morin, Preston Lounsbury and Vincent Collard.
Cape Breton's Conor Shortall cut the lead to 2-1 late in the third, but the Wildcats held off the Eagles to earn the victory. The win lifts the Cats record to 15-5-1-1.

This week, Moncton returns to the Avenir Centre with an important 5-game home stand opening Thursday night against the Charlottetown Islanders at 7pm. Friday night, the Cats host the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on 'Corey Crawford Retirement Night' at 7pm and Sunday afternoon the Halifax Mooseheads provide the opposition at 4pm.
