
Los Angeles Sparks Assistant Coach Larry Smith To Leave Team

The Los Angeles Sparks today announced that Assistant Coach Larry Smith will be leaving the team, effective immediately, to tend to personal matters.
An NBA coaching veteran, Smith joined the Sparks organization in January 2008. During Smith's 14 years of coaching, he has been involved in title seasons at both the NBA and NBA D-League levels. He won the D-League title with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds in 2006.
"We wish Larry all the best in his future endeavors," said Sparks co-owner Katherine Goodman.
