Looks Drop Second Game in Kodak
July 29, 2018 - Southern League (SL1)
Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Lookouts were too late to catch the Smokies in their 8-3 loss in Kodak in Sunday's game two. The culprit was Vimael Machin (machine) as he went 3-3 with a game changing home run in the fifth inning. That would send Omar Bencomo packing and the Smokies would score for the next three innings in their win. Lookouts Zander Wiel had a three hit day moving his average to .312 on the season. Brent Rooker and Luis Arraez would add two hits each but scoring was scarce as the Nooga nine left ten runners stranded. Game three on Monday has the Lookouts RHP-Sean Poppen on the mound opposing RHP-Duncan Robinson. Air time at MiLB.com is set for 6:45 as well as at 96.1 FM.
