Lookouts Snap Losing Streak with 10-5 Win

Lookouts snapped their 10-game losing streak with a 10-5 win over the Birmingham Barons.

Chattanooga infielder Edwin Arroyo set the tone for the night with a lead-off triple. Later in the inning Francisco Urbaez doubled home Quincy McAfee for the team's first run of the day. In the top of the second Birmingham scored two runs and tacked on another one off of Lookouts starter Jake Wong.

With the score 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, the Lookouts loaded the bases and broke the game open with three runs. An inning later Arroyo drove in his first Double-A run with a RBI single. The team scored their seventh run on a double play.

Birmingham cut the lead down with two runs, but Arroyo drove home two runs with his second single of the night.

Tomorrow is Fireworks Friday at AT&T Field. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
