
Lookouts Drop Game to Rocket City

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Ivan Johnson hit his first Double-A home run of the season but the Chattanooga Lookouts fell, 5-1, to the Rocket City Trash Pandas on Tuesday night from AT&T Field.
Johnson crushed a ball 441 feet in the bottom of the eighth for the Lookouts' lone run. James Free led the Chattanooga (24-22) charge finishing 3-for-4 and Jacob Hurtubise went 2-for-4.
Jeremiah Jackson paced the Rocket City (28-18) offense with a 2-for-5 contest with a double and home run with an RBI.
Brett Kerry (2-1) got the start and win for the Trash Pandas hurling five innings allowing just five hits and three walks while striking out two.
Eduardo Salazar (3-5) was tagged with the loss pitching 3.2 innings giving up four runs on two hits, six walks, and struck out three batters.
The two teams will be back in action on Wednesday at AT&T Field beginning at 7:15 p.m.
