Looking for 28 cheerleaders in 2011

Montreal, Feb. 22, 2011 - The Montreal Alouettes ' cheerleaders will continue to make sure there are no dull moments at Als home games this season. Auditions will be held to fill the 28 positions available on the 2011 cheerleader team Saturday Feb. 26 at the John-Molson room at the Molson Breweries.

Auditions will start at 9 a.m. Candidates will learn a short choreography in the morning and 50 girls will then be chosen to perform that same choreography in front of a panel of judges in the afternoon. They will then choose the 28 cheerleaders which will be part of the 2011 edition.

Candidates must be aged 18 and over and have dancing experience (jazz, hip-hop, funky). People interested in participating to the auditions can do so via a form which can be found on www.MontrealAlouettes.com .

When: Saturday Feb. 26.

Where: John-Molson room of the Molson Breweries 1670 Notre-Dame East in Montreal.
