Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats are in the midst of a four game in five night stretch with the bulk of that coming this weekend in a three-game-in three night set. The Pats (21-35-3-4) open the weekend with a full dose of the best rivalry in junior hockey in a home and home with the Moose Jaw Warriors (21-33-3-6) starting Friday night at the Brandt Centre. The Pats finish the weekend with their final contest in their season series against the Brandon Wheat Kings (21-37-4-2) on Sunday.

In addition to the Pats taking on their East Division rivals on home ice, there's plenty for fans to be excited about off the ice as well.

March 1st, Pats vs. Warriors, 7 p.m. - It's Scotiabank Zamboni Night at the Brandt Centre this Friday. Scotiabank and the Pats have teamed up to "Save for the Cause" by raising money for the Hospitals of Regina Foundation. Regina Scotiabank locations have been selling Piggy Bank Zambonis with proceeds going to the HoRF and will present a cheque before the game for the money raised to date. If you haven't picked up your zamboni yet, don't worry. They'll be available at the game for a minimum $5 donation to the HoRF. The Pats will also be holding a Jersey Auction as fans will have the opportunity to bid on the jerseys worn by the Pats at the Pats Prairie Mobile Skills Competition. It's also Footlong Friday at Brandt Centre Concessions, so Footlong Hot Dogs will be $4 all night.

March 3rd, Pats vs. Wheat Kings, 6 p.m. - The Pats' first Multi-Cultural Night wraps up the weekend as Regina's diversity will be on full display to start Multi-Cultural Month in the Queen City. The Brandt Centre will be adorned in flags representing nations from all over the World and over fifteen groups from the Regina Multi-Cultural Council will be on hand to share their culture with Pats fans throughout the night. Fans will be treated to dancing and music before the game and during intermissions.

With everything going on at the Brandt Centre, don't forget it's Happy Hour one hour before each game when drinks are just $4 around the rink. Fans can pick up their 2-for-1 walk-up tickets for this weekend at the Brandt Centre Box Office.
