Lonnie Chisenhall to Play in Eastern League All-Star Game Tonight

Kinston continues their road trip with the first of four games in Potomac. Tonight's game is at 7:03 pm followed by a noon game on Thursday.

Former K-Triber and Eastern North Carolina's own Lonnie Chisenhall will play in the Eastern League All-Star Game tonight at 7pm in Harrisburg, PA. Chisenhall is hitting .267 and leads the Double A Akron Aeros in runs scored. Lonnie Chisenhall bobblehead night is a week from Saturday at Historic Grainger Stadium. K-Tribe legend Johnny Drennen (.305, 2 HR, 35 RBI) and formerKinston pitcherPaolo Espino are also in the All-Star Game. Akron is 45-45, but just 2 1/2 games out of a playoff spot in their division. The International League takes on the Pacific Coast League in the Triple A All-Star game tonight in Allentown, PA. Former K-Triber Jose Constanza and pitcher Josh Tomlin are the two representatives for the Triple A Columbus Clippers. The Clippers, managed by former K-Tribe player, coach and skipper Mike Sarbaugh, are 55-36 on the season and lead their division by 7 1/2 games at the break.
