
Long Island Nets Acquire Returning Player Rights to Scottie Lindsey & A.J. Reeves

LONG ISLAND - The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have acquired the returning player rights to guards Scottie Lindsey and A.J. Reeves from the Maine Celtics in exchange for the returning player rights to guards Jordan Bowden and Noah Kirkwood.
Lindsey (6'5", 210) has appeared in 107 career NBA G League regular season games (35 starts) over four seasons with Maine (2022-23), Windy City (2021-22), Erie (2019-20) and Grand Rapids (2018-19), registering averages of 11.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24.9 minutes per game. He appeared in 29 regular season games (12 starts) with Maine last season, averaging 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 26.6 minutes per contest, as well as 15 Showcase Cup games, averaging 11.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 19.9 minutes per game. Lindsey has also spent time playing abroad in Portugal and Canada. Prior to his professional career, Lindsey played four collegiate seasons (2014-18) at Northwestern, where he earned All-Big Ten Third Team honors as a junior. In 126 career games (76 starts) for the Wildcats, Lindsey averaged 10.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 24.3 minutes per contest.
Reeves (6'6", 205) appeared in 19 regular season games (two starts) for Maine last season in his first year in the NBA G League, posting averages of 3.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per contest. He also appeared in 10 Showcase Cup games for the Celtics, averaging 5.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per contest. Reeves previously played four collegiate seasons (2018-22) at Providence, recording career averages of 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 25.3 minutes per game in 107 games (88 starts).
Bowden appeared in 64 regular season games (28 starts) over three seasons (2020-23) with Long Island, recording averages of 12.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 27.8 minutes per game. He was originally acquired by Long Island as an affiliate player from Brooklyn.
Kirkwood was also originally acquired by Long Island as an affiliate player from Brooklyn and appeared in 29 regular season games (two starts) during the 2022-23 season, averaging 5.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 18.9 minutes per contest.
