Rochester Red Wings News Release


The International League announced Monday that Rochester pitcher Francisco Liriano has been named the League's Pitcher-of-the-Week for the period from June 30-July 6. Liriano joins outfielders Darnell McDonald (April 28-May 4) and Denard Span (May 12-18) as the third Red Wing to be so honored this season. Click here to read the official IL press release....INF Matt Macri is the Minnesota Twins Minor League Player of the Week for June 28-July 4...Macri, 26, went 12-for-27 (.444) with 10 rbi, three home runs, two doubles, four walks and four runs scored.
