(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club is pleased to announce that its entire 2014 CFL Draft class has agreed to contracts and will be in Kamloops for the beginning of first-year BC Lions mini-camp on Thursday, May 29th.

The Lions took full advantage of this year's CFL Draft by trading its first-round pick to the Ottawa REDBLACKS in exchange for veteran quarterback Kevin Glenn before picking up offensive lineman T-Dre Player (12th overall), fullback Pascal Lochard (14th overall), linebacker Casey Chin (27th overall), defensive lineman David Menard (32nd overall), wide receiver Alexander Fox (41st overall), defensive lineman Dylan Roper (50th overall) and running back Guillaume Bourassa (59th overall).

The club also announced that they have signed linebacker Thomas Spoletini. The former University of Calgary standout was a 2013 CFL Draft selection of the Saskatchewan Roughriders (sixth round, 49th overall) but returned to school for his fourth year of eligibility. The Calgary native has tallied 50 defensive tackles along with four sacks through three seasons with the Dinos after sitting out 2010 with an injury.

As in past years, the Lions have added some outstanding junior talent to the ranks for this year's mini-camp as Kamloops Broncos receiver Derek Yachison along with Langley Rams teammates Anthony Daley and Nathan Lund will be among the first-year Lions on the field starting Thursday afternoon at Hillside Stadium.

BC Lions Training Camp presented by Sun Peaks Resort begins on Sunday, June 1 in Kamloops, BC.

BC Lions season tickets for 2014 are on sale now - Season ticket holders save up to 27% on the cost of single game tickets and receive first option on their seats for playoffs and the 102nd Grey Cup. Call 604.589.ROAR or visit bclions.com today for more information.
