
Lions head to Vancouver for Lions in the House

VANCOUVER, B.C. March 11, 2005 â The BC Lions will continue their 2005 Lions in the House program at Vancouver's Britannia Secondary School on March 17, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The Lions in the House program engages youth and encourages positive skill development to benefit students and their schools. Students will participate in an interactive assembly with Lions players, which includes spirited athletic activities, interspersed with presentations about social responsibility issues. This year's focus is on positive attitude, continuing education and bullying awareness. In 2004, there were 32 sessions of Lions in the House, with over 15,000 students in grades 8-12 participating.
