This Week in Condorstown:

Today, March 26th: Condors mascots Colonel Claw'd and Baby Cal will be at Houchin Community Blood Bank, located at 5901 Truxtun Ave., from 4:30-5:30 p.m., to help encourage fans to donate blood. All fans who visit the blood bank will receive admission for $1 to the game on March 28th, courtesy of 107.9 KUZZ. In addition, fans will be entered to win an autographed Condors jersey, best seat in the house tickets and the opportunity to drop the puck.

Today, March 26th: Community Relations Manager Jill Watts will visit Wayside Elementary for the Reach for Greatness Mentoring Program, at 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 28th: The Condors will battle the Phoenix RoadRunners and present Blood Drive Night. All fans who visit Houchin Community Blood Banks, located at 5901 Truxtun Ave. and 2600 G St., during the month of March to donate blood, will receive admission for $1, courtesy of 107.9 KUZZ. The Condors are also holding the Lions Club Eyeglass Collection, which allows fans to donate a pair of new or gently used eyeglasses and in return, will get into the game for $1. This night is also a Classroom Champions game where students from Wayside Elementary, Nichols Elementary, Freedom Middle School, Fruitvale Jr. High and Stern Middle School earned free admission through excellent attendance, courtesy of 29 Eyewitness News and SC Architect. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 29th: Wake up with the Condors leading goal scorer Brett Lutes at 6:30 a.m. on Channel 29 Eyewitness News Daybreak. Lutes will be speaking about the Blues Brothers' performance at Saturday's game and his outlook on the end of the regular season and approaching playoffs.

Thursday, March 29th: Don't miss Condors goaltender Jamie Hodson on The Big 96.5 KBKO at 7:40 a.m. for another addition of "Ask a Condor" with Kenn and Jenn in the morning. Fans can send in their questions to Hodson at www.big965.com for a chance to win tickets to an upcoming game.

Friday, March 30th: Condors mascot Baby Cal will be in attendance at Longfellow Elementary, at noon, striding alongside students in their Jog-A-Thon.

Saturday, March 31st: The Condors will take on the Stockton Thunder for the final Kids Club game of the season. All Condors Kids Club members will receive free admission to the game by presenting their ID badge to the box office. This game is also Big Buddies Night, a program in which local organizations provide free admission to the game for underprivileged children and military personnel. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 1st: Don't miss the Condors Kids Club party at Rollerama West, located at 7850 Brimhall Rd., from 4:30-6:30 p.m., All members will receive free entry, skates, dinner and one-on- one interaction with Condors players and mascots! Parents attending with their children also receive free entry, and kids who are non-members will have to pay $3 for entry and skates. All those in attendance will be entered into a drawing to win an autographed youth-size jersey and autographed merchandise.

Kids Club sign-ups are still welcome through March 31st in the Condors office, at all homes or at Condorskids.com. Members will receive a Kids Club T-shirt and badge, exclusive merchandise and access to the Kids Zone through playoffs, courtesy of the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank. Week In Review:

Tuesday, March 20th: Condors Captain Sean Venedam and forward Tyler Liebel met with students at Bessie Owens Primary School and assisted them in writing autobiographical reports on their lives.

Wednesday, March 21st: The Condors presented the Department of Human Services Shoe Collection, bringing in 77 pairs of shoes to benefit local non-profit organizations. All fans who donated a pair of new or gently used shoes got into the game for $1.

Thursday, March 22nd: Condors forwards Alex Rogosheske and Todd Griffith spoke to students at Planz Elementary. The players emphasized the importance of hard work and presented students with an educational packet that discusses the ties between hockey and math, science, geography and health and fitness.

Thursday, March 22nd: Condors players Scott Balan, Alex Rogosheske and Scott Borders, as well as Voice of the Condors, Jake Stevens, donated blood and hung with donors at Houchin Community Blood Bank on Truxtun Ave., for the Condors Blood Drive. All fans who stop by blood banks during the month of March receive admission for $1 into the game on March 28th. Thanks to 107.9 KUZZ, the blood bank had 120 donors stop in, up from an average of 40 people on a regular basis. Donors received a voucher to get in to the game on March 28th for $1, a Condors T-shirt and were entered to win an autographed jersey, the best seat in the house tickets and the opportunity to drop the puck.

Mark Your Calendars:

Wednesday, April 4th: The Condors will face off against the Idaho Steelheads and present the Holiday Inn Select D.A.R.E. Night, where all students graduating from the DARE program will receive free admission to the game. The Condors will also hold the Community Connection for Childcare Cell Phone and Printer Cartridge Collection Night. All fans who donate their old cell phones and or printer cartridges will receive $1 terrace level admission.
