B.C. Lions News Release
The BC Lions Football Club announced today that free agent import defensive back Calvin Bannister has signed with the team. Terms of the deal were not released.
"Calvin can play both the corner and halfback position and has very good speed," said Lions secondary coach, Mark Washington. "His experience and playmaking ability will add depth to our secondary and I look forward to seeing him compete for a spot in training camp."
Bannister originally signed as a free agent with the Calgary Stampeders in June of 2007 and went on to play in 21 regular season games over two seasons for the Stamps recording 56 tackles and three interceptions.
