Lindsay Whalen to Join Timberwolves Broadcast as Guest Analyst on FOX Sports North

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx and FOX Sports North today announced that three-time WNBA Champion Lindsay Whalen will join FOX Sports North as guest television analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Dave Benz and color analyst Jim Petersen for the March 30 Timberwolves game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Whalen will serve as a second analyst for the entire broadcast and share unique insights throughout the game, including thoughts on top point guards in the League, preferred players to watch and all-time favorite performers. She will also talk about the upcoming 2016 Lynx season.

The game will tip-off on FOX Sports North at 7:10 p.m. Fans can also catch Whalen on the Wolves Live pregame which begins at 6:30 p.m.

Beginning her 12th WNBA season and seventh in a Lynx uniform in 2016, Whalen is the Lynx franchise record holder in assists (1,072) and ranks third all-time in the WNBA in career assists (2,033). She is one of six players in WNBA history with 3,000 points, 1000 rebounds and 1,000 assists in a career.
