Lindgren, Ernst on Canada's 2020 Youth Olympic Roster

Kamloops, BC - Defenseman Mats Lindgren and goaltender Dylan Ernst have been named to Canada's roster for the 2020 Youth Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland January 9th to 22nd.

Lindgren was selected by the Blazers in the first round, seventh overall in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft. The 15-year-old plays with the Burnaby Winter Club Midget Prep team and has 10 assists in 17 games this season.

He has also played in two regular season games with the Blazers this season.

Ernst was chosen by the Blazers in the second round, 28th overall in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft. The 15-year-old goaltender was the first goaltender chosen in the WHL Bantam Draft.

Lindgren and Ernst are two of six players from the WHL region that were named to the team.
