Lindberg re-signs with Ice Pilots

Pensacola, Fla. - The 2004-05 Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced today that forward Nick Lindberg has signed a contract with the team for the 2005-2006 season.
Lindberg, who stands 5'11" and weighs 190 pounds, played in 69 regular season games for the Ice Pilots last year scoring 15 goals, 23 assists for 38 points and picked up 36 penalty minutes and also played in all four Kelly Cup Playoff games picking up two assists and two penalty minutes.
Lindberg scored 2 short handed goals for the Ice Pilots last season which tied him for first on the team. He also scored 4 game winning goals and 6 first goals in a game.
During the 2003-2004 season, Lindberg played in 40 games for Hammerby in Sweden scoring 22 goals, 18 assists for 40 points and picked up 24 penalty minutes. Lindberg is 25 years old from Stockholm, Sweden and shoots left.
"We are excited to have Nick back with us for this season. Our organization is continuing to look at top end quality players to help build a strong quality team for the upcoming season," said Ice Pilots President Mario Forgione.
"I'm looking forward to see Nick play this season. I know that he was one of the most improved players from last season as the season went along," said Ice Pilots Head Coach Rick Adduono. "We look for Nick to have a bigger impact on the ice this season offensively along with his solid defensive play and to contribute a great deal on the special teams."
The Ice Pilots will play two preseason home games vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, October 14 and Saturday, October 15 at 7:05 p.m. Price of tickets for the preseason games are $11 for lower level seats and $6 for upper level seats.
Season tickets for the Ice Pilots 2005-2006 season are on sale. Prices for all 36 home games for floor and glass seats are $678.96, side seats are $489.60, goal seats and lower upper seats are $443.52 and upper seats cost $356.40. Partial season ticket plans are also available for as low as $85.84. Fans can call the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825 for season ticket and corporate sponsorship information.
